The guest of honor of the 35th FEST shall be renown director Bob Rafelson, to which is dedicated the program „Three Easy Pieces“ in the Museum of the Yugoslav Cinematheque. Mr. Rafelson is coming to Belgrade on February 23 and shall attend the opening ceremony of FEST on February 23 at 19.30h. The same day at noon a press conference shall be held with Mr. Rafelson at noon in the Sava Center . Our guest shall stay in Belgrade until March 1.

The guests of this year's Festival shall also be one of the three Pakistanis the life stories of which inspired Michael Winterbottom and Mat Whitecross to make „The Road to Guantanamo“, which was last year awarded the Silver Bear for Best Direction at the Berlin Festival. Ruhal Ahmed hall come to FEST on February 27 and stay in Belgrade until March 2; he shall address journalists on February 28 at a press conference in Sava Center .

mong other international guests to attend FEST shall also me Madalina Ghitescu , the main character of the Romanian film „Marilena from 7p“. The Film shall be shown within the program „Romanian Hat-Trick Plus One“ and the “Beacon” series. Director Cristian Nemescu unfortunately did not live to see the promotion of his film, dying shortly after the completion of the shooting in a car accident.
